Worldcup spectacle in Düren: In form of a Public Viewing on the central ‘Kaiserplatz’ the Soccer World Cup was shown from the opening game to the final for free in June of 2006.
The 12 meter cupola of the ZENDOME.systemtecture by System 180 became an eye catcher during the four weeks of this fan festival: as the frame for the video screen where the 1800 guests per day could see all the games and all the goals on the 4x3 m screen.
So that not only football fans where entertained, the ZENDOME.systemtecture cupola was also designed as a stage for other events: during game breaks this stage was used for a vast cultural program such as concert, shows and cinematic events.
