Giant Igloo or Moon Base?
A giant igloo? A moon base? The ‚World Garden’ is the educational project of the “Eine Welt Netz NRW e.V.” with the most visitors: more than 2 million guests have visited the interactive exhibition in Leverkusen and Münster until now.
The secret of its success: the developmental exhibition is situated there where many people are and have the time to widen their horizons. And from far off the ZENDOME.75B arouses curiosity: Within the cupola storms of knowledge and money showers, product presentations from the World Shop as well as stations for listening and watching topics related to the World Shop await the guests. Fair trade coffee and Brazilian hammocks invite anyone to take a break.
The basis: A project such as the World Garden can only work with the help of many friends. 1000 members of the ‘Eine Welt Netz NRW e.V.’, 800 honorary helpers in the ‘Eine Welt’ group of regions, organisations and institutions, the NRW foundation for environment and development and the Federal State of NRW, the ministry for economical cooperation and development, the Evangelical Church of Westfalia as well as the Catholic Fond WorldChurch and the diocese of Münster make all this possible.
ZENDOME wishes the concept of ‘Eine Welt Netz NRW e.V.’, which is trying to make global interaction perceptible and also trying to inform about wind power, climate change, solar cooking and energy prices in an entertaining way, all the best for its next steps!
