ZENDOME.changeover

Hi, I´m Julian Barfknecht and am just beginning my training for event management assistant with ZENDOME. This makes me the legitimate heir to Janna de Buhr. She has succeeded by passing her exams last month and also staying with us. We are all happy about her decision!

Janna, tell us. What kind of things did you do and how were you supported?

During the last 2 ½ years I have passed through nearly all the areas of work at ZENDOME. I was trained in accounting, learned customer communication, dealt with customer requests and written business propositions. I managed project realisation and organised logistics and work force. I also very much enjoyed working in acquisition sales. What I really liked was that I could always use my brain and bring in new ideas. And these were fully supported. So I was able to really pick up a lot.

Were you fully integrated into the company and in all its processes?

Yes, very much so. From the beginning I was accepted as a full team member and immediately got my own responsibilities. I had to work very independently most of the time but all three managing directors were very open for questions and providing information all the time. This service I used regularly (smiles). I was also able to provide information which I had gathered with earlier jobs such as the festival on the museum island.

What kind of experiences have you had with the geodesic domes, namely our product, and could you use it for your school projects?

Yes, and as most people have realised after constructing one themselves, I instantly became zendomised. The ZENDOME was the main element of my second project, where we organised a summer party for Spindler&Klatt here in Berlin and were very successful with our idea. ZENDOME.active it is called – weren´t you part of this, too? I supervised two constructions and deconstructions and helped with the work myself. Thus I could understand the product much better and it was fascinating to see who the office theories come to life. But now I am looking forward to even more responsibility and all the possibilities that working with and for ZENDOME will provide!

Ok, so in future if I have questions concerning my training, I will come to you...
...and say thank you for my first interview. Until soon, with more news from the training camp, Julian
