 Kick it like Bruno!

Kick it like Bruno!

The second day of the international football trade fair Soccerex also saw a real challenge for the ZENDOME-Team. Guests from Spain, Norway, Hungary, Slovenia and Australia met up in the special edition ZENDOME.soccerex and where able to converse and indulge in networking activities in an relaxed atmosphere.

Also attracted by the appearance of the ZENDOME.30M where Bruno the striker and Jan the keeper of the Darmstadt Dribblers. Both the humanoid robots - merely 55 cm tall and totally automated – where heartily welcomed and immediately embraced the ZENDOME.soccerex as their new field.

Together with their coaches from the TU Darmstadt they had lots of fun playing in the geodesic “space for ideas”.

Jan and Bruno are the fastest robots on two legs of their class so Bruno´s first name is not by accident the same as former national player and striker Bruno Labbadia who, as the only player ever, scored more than 100 goals respectively in the first and second league: the Darmstadt Dribbler reaches a top speed of 40 cm per second for more than two minutes.

The robots have artificial vision, score the first goal even with back heels and cooperate in a team – all technological innovation that awarded the ZENDOME guests the “Best Humanoid Rpice” at last years´ RoboCup in Japan.

Innovative technology in the ZENDOME makes you want more!
