ecopod website launch

It has happened - the website by ecopod operators Nicola Meekin and Jim Mulligan is online.

ecopod is not only a concept, it stands for a new dimension of 'savoir vivre': a Boutique Hotel in the middle of breath taking nature and the cultural diversity of the Scottish Highlands.

In cooperation with the Scottish owners, English designers, German furniture designers and ZENDOME, a unique holiday location has been created on the shore of beautiful Loch Linnhe.

75 m² of interior acommodate a living and eating area, a bedroom and a bathroom. The hot tub on the terrace invites you to relax. A spot where guests will have a totally new experience and at the same time support environmental protection:

1. For the base, only wood from the region was used
2. Only energy saving devises are used
3. Water is recycled and a composting system is used for preparing the sanitary water
4. Classic pieces or manually crafted design furniture by the 'Stadtnomaden'
5. Durable and high quality geodesic structures by ZENDOME

The ITB sees much positive feedback and appreciation for the concept. A concept with a future - based on the system by ZENDOME which is thought through to the tiniest detail.
