With its appearance in Basel during the UEFA European Football Cup, the ZENDOME.75M from the ZENDOME Rental Pool will be successfully employed as a ‘Space for Ideas’ for the City Marketing from the beginning of June to the end of July 2008. Communicating the main advantages of Basel is the most important goal of the City Marketing and so the main Swiss sporting location is making use of the giant event in order to advertise the Canton Basel City.

The motto, ‘Basel. More than 90 minutes’, is aimed at promoting awareness, more information and a positive image of the City in the tri-state area. To ensure a successful realisation, the project partners placed the ZENDOME.75M as a real eye-catcher in the middle of the city at the Small Basel Fan Boulevard.

“BASEL. BEST PLACE TO…” – within the pavilion the international audience will be convinced of the living and leisure appeal of the tri-national region. The visitors have access to vast information concerning the business location Basel, its educational, cultural and leisure possibilities as well as competent counterparts to indulge in intensive discussions.

For the time of the European Cup, the host countries Switzerland and Austria are expecting a total of 550.000 visitors in the stadiums and up to 2 million participants in the fan areas and at public viewing locations. With its decision to incorporate the ZENDOME and its extraordinary geodesic presentation possibilities, Basel is consequently advancing its image campaign under the claim “Basel ticks differently”.
