Featured as an exceptional exhibition space the ZENDOME.20 Home Edition will put visitors in awe at the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden.
Under the title '2° Weather, man and his climate' the special exhibition deals with the global climate change as a social topic and approaches it in multi layered fashion from with media installations, interactive elements and objects from natural, cultural, art and science history.
Here, the geodesic dome functions perfectly as space within a space, where prawns inside a closed biosphere, drawings of utopian space landscapes which are the result of a NASA workshop and other interesting things are shown.
Until 19th April 2009 the public can find out how weather is born, which influence it has on our everyday lives, how the climate changes and how any individual or politics can act in order to reduce Co² emissions.
The exciting learning and experiencing event is realised by numerous partners such as the German Weather Service, the environmental foundation WWF Germany and the Max-Planck- Institute for Meteorology.
