In June 2013, the futuristic EFFEKTE Dome was the central point of interest at the science festival with the same name in Karlsruhe.
An information pavilion during the day, theatre, lecture hall and illuminated eye catcher in the evening: Sporting such diversity, the ZENDOME.75M was a magical attraction for ten days and nights.
Within the EFFEKTE Dome itself, puppet theatres, concerts and wild experiments turned science into an entertaining experience. Actors from the ‘Badische Staatstheater Karlsruhe’ used science as their script and current fields of research as well as personalities as inspiration.
Starting from the geodesic dome located on the ‘Schlossplatz’ in Karlsruhe, the visitors swarmed out into the entire city to a total of 250 more events, discovering the researcher within themselves.
Bottom line: experiment successful!
