System
Mobility, safety and cost calculation: By designing the Advanced Frame System (AFS) ZENDOME has developed a connecting system for geodesic structure patented internationally under the number WO/2007/054136.
The idea: A perfection of time needed for construction and deconstruction as well as a maximum of safety.
The solution: the special connection of the Advanced Frame System.
The screw joints are situated at a junction disc and not one central point as with standard framework systems.
By joining all the poles through fixed parts and connecting them via key holes the construction and deconstruction of the Advanced Frame System is made easier.
The time for construction is reduced by about 40%. The handling of light structural components and the lack of loose construction elements as well as the possibility of subassembly also increase the safety while working.
This connecting solution secures the static of the ZENDOME even under extreme weather conditions (tested static under DIN 4112, DIN 1055 T4).
