Carmen at the Wannsee

After lasts years phenomenal success by Katharina Thalbach - German actress and director - producing Mozart's Zauberflöte, Academy Award Winner Volker Schlöndorff presents Bizet's Carmen on the stage on the Wannsee in Berlin.

Amazing tunes of seduction, temperament and beauty, performed by the Kammerakademie Potsdam conducted by Judith Kubitz, coming out of the geodesic dome, an orchestra pit of a special kind.

In front of a huge metallic fan, dominating the stage from the background, the tragical love story revolving around one of the most important female figures of opera history is unfolding.

A Must see! Till 2nd of September on the historical shore of the Wannsee, Berlin.
