Resounding success in the US
The first appearance of the ZENDOME.immersive media screen (ims) in the US was a huge success. The much anticipated “Sky-Skan Dome” in the ZENDOME.ims1200 based on the ZENDOME.150M impressed the international audience at the biggest Planetarium Conference in the world, the IPS 2012 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Already being used in Europe for entertainment purposed at big events and exclusive high class exhibitions, the geodesic dome with its perfect projection surface has now also been discovered by science. Full surface 360° projections, images, videos and audio let the audience dive into interstellar adventures. This way scientific information is accessible with all senses, stars and planets seem reachable, new missions a breath taking and realistic experience.
While Sky-Skan as always provided professional projection technology and IOSONO the great 3D sound, the ims held its promise:
the screen provided a perfect image quality, setting new standards in the presentation of 360° content.
