ZENDOME goes USA
Stellar adventures provided by Sky-Skan, IOSONO and ZENDOME
Visitors of the IPS Dome Village will enjoy immersive video and audio demonstrations at the Sky-Skan dome. IOSONO, technology leader in 3D event sound, attends the 21st International Planetarium Society Conference IPS 2012. Already providing 3D sound for galactic journeys in planetariums for years, IOSONO shows its system at the booth of Sky-Skan, leading provider of fulldome planetarium and visualization theater installations.
As mobility in event sound has never had more meaning than today, the two companies will logically be completed by ZENDOME. Teaming up for the IPS show, the three companies will show the latest in visualization and multidimensional sound creation.
The basis of the audible experience is IOSONO’s Spatial Audio Processor, which is connected to 32 speakers placed in a ring around the audience. Seamlessly synchronized with Sky-Skan’s video show, visitors will be able to enjoy a stellar adventure with state-of-the-art sound and picture technology. In addition to the 3D sound, two high resolution video projectors cover the spherical screen inside the ZENDOME.ims1200 mobile dome.
