Royal Glamour
Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands had all reason to be amazed when she entered the ZENDOME in the border town of Venlo on the 11th of April. "THE DOME..." was designed and realized by DST Experience communications from Baarn (NL).
As the patroness of the Floriade 2012, she opened the largest garden show in the world and brought glamour to the silvery glistening dome.
She immersed herself into the world of gardening in the 300 square metre cupola with all her senses, an unforgettable experience, presented as an impressive 360° film by DST Experience communications.
All the others of the two million expected visitors will start their Floriade round of the 66 acre large grounds with this unforgettable impression. For more than 180 days, garden lovers, families with children and people interested in culture will enjoy a great program with theatre, dance, acrobatics, music and fashion. Over 100 theme gardens and pavilions of participants from 40 countries present themselves at this permanent exhibition with themes focussing on tourism, gardening, agricultural and nutrition sciences until the 7th of October.
