Ice Skating fun by the CINECITTA

With the ice rink and the ZENDOME.30M located by the cinema, the historical part of Nürnberg has one more attraction during the winter months.

Ice skating in the middle of town, only a few minute’s walk from the main market and the central station – this has been made possible in the Frankonian town this winter.

Wolfram Weber, owner of the multiplex cinema CINECITTA´, transformed his wintry terrace next to the main entrance to the cinema into an ice rink. The 225 m² large outdoor space, which offers sought after seating from spring all through autumn, is now being used during the winter months for the first time.

Visitors can enjoy wintery Christmas atmosphere in form of a ZENDOME.30M located at the entrance area. The white cupola directs all guests into the right direction.

Those who don´t own skates or feel like skating spontaneously on their way to the town centre won´t have to go without: Skates can be rented directly on location opposite the rink. But all other visitors are entertained, too – behind the boards they can enjoy mulled wine, children’s punch or sausages.

The wintery fun is a perfect addition to the famous multiplex cinema.

Apart from cinema and gastronomy, events and other actions on top of the usual film business have always been very important, here. With this ice rink the CINECITTA´ once again offers its visitors something very special – ranging from fun on the ice for kids to relaxed skating with classical music to ice parties in the evenings where chart hits entertain Teens and all who still feel young. And if you feel too cold at any point – just move inside to the warm cinema!

Young and old skaters are welcome every day from 10am to 10pm; there is also going to be a special offer for kindergarten and school groups.

The wintery fun under the open sky will be available until the end of the carnival holidays.
