Current architecture of culture
The group „Aktuelle Architektur Der Kultur“ (Current architecture of culture) turns the DomeDeluxe into a temple of the arts.
A couple of artists will shake the geodesic dome at the Ostbahnhof in Berlin from 9th to 11th September.
One o f them is Abraham Hurtado with his live installation ”Welcome to Europe”. The Spanish performance artist asks for the mental state of the Europeans with this installation. What is the effect of shopping frenzy and permanent stimulus satuation on the emotional conditions that define our being as European?
Hurtado, who already worked together with theatre ensembles like La Fura dels Baus zusammengearbeitet and was engaged as choreographer at the Volksbühne in Berlin, approaches these mental states through the staging of emotions like joy, sadness or emptiness.
We are curious!
Following the Video Installation there is an invitation of David Bergé and Vania Rovisco for a cocktail in the ZENDOME.150M. Be aware, it’s going to be elegant - Dresscode-Party!
