ZENDOME.creative times pi squared

Looking and experiencing means: The layered and differently arranged coloured circles by the Osnabrück artist group 22quadrat (quadrat is the German word for squared) create a very special three dimensionality on the semi sphere surface of the ZENDOME.

The interior design by neongrau featuring intolight provides the whirring dynamic which feels alive on the inside of the geodesic cupola. Interactive and on 360° this theme of constant movement becomes a projection the visitors will be able to control.

Exterior

The form language of the concept orients itself following the characteristic of the cupola and its vertex -  here, the work illustrates the rotation of space. The goal is to "Dissolve the Space". 22quadrat designed graphics whirr around the vertex of the cupola, constantly moving due to different sizes of circles and taking the entire cupola into this dynamic motion, similar to a spinning top.

Space

ZENDOME combines temporary, mobile architecture with design, aesthetic and technology. The organic form of the semi sphere creates impressive ‚Space for Ideas‘ and with the patented advanced structure it also brings style, creativity and competence to the MICE market. For exhibitions, events, arts, culture and commerce  -  as temporary installation or on the road world wide.

Interior

Neongrau featuring intolight have created a playful ‚virtual world‘ experience in the interior of the cupola. The static and playful forms are used inside, too: curved arches are suspended interactively controllable within the space. The projections on the entire surface let visitors immerse in the experience by navigating these from tailor made control panels. This way, haptic and visual perceptions blend into a multi modal experience.

PREVIEW

Moonwalk 2007, work in progress (release summer 2009) is a stroll on the Moon through time and space, a lyrical history of humanity's scientific and allegorical relationship with the Moon. A hemispherical „film", Moonwalk creates an immersive experience, enveloping the audience within the Moon. It is an experimental film in both genre and form, informed by diverse cultures and times. The subjective Moon coexists in space-time with the factual Moon, challenging the schism between the arts and the sciences.

CREATE BERLIN e.V. - The initiative by and for Berlin designers.

EXPO Mietmöbel GmbH - For more than 20 years EXPO rental furniture has been renting furniture for giant events, trade fairs, concerts, private events and parties.

Gothaer Versicherungsbüro Erxleben (only in German language) - The event insurers

SKYSKAN Europe GmbH - The world market leader for planetarium equipment wants to support planetariums, digital theatres and museums with their productions of their worlds of experience.

TREVISION Groß.Bild.Technik. GmbH - TREVISION successfully faces the challenge of environmentally friendly printing technology with their UV printing process.
